SCHEDULE - As a general guide most weekends begin on Friday afternoon with rooms being available from 4.30pm onwards. The first yoga class starts at 6pm followed by dinner. On Saturday there are two yoga classes, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. On Sunday morning, weather permitting there will be one of Simon’s renowned and energising ‘silent walks’, followed by breakfast and a final yoga class. Departures are after lunch from about 3.30pm. Unless otherwise stated rooms to be vacated by 4pm.
YOGA & CLASSES - A normal day includes a morning practice of 2-3 hours of dynamic Yang practice, usually around 0800 and an afternoon practice of 2-3 hours of a more passive and restorative practice usually at 1700. Outside these extensive yoga sessions we allow plenty of time for other activities both active and passive.
As well as the broad spectrum of Simon's Yin & Yang teachings, the sessions may include pranayama, meditation, and occasional partnerwork. Unless otherwise stated, these weekends are suitable for all levels of experience from beginner to teacher level. Simon is assisted at all his yoga events by teachers he has personally trained at The Yoga Academy, ensuring that all students enjoy experienced guidance and support throughout his classes.
MASSAGE - A variety of massage with fully qualified and highly recommended therapists is on offer throughout the weekend. Payment should be made directly to your therapist during the weekend. We will notify you of the therapists contact details if you wish to book before arriving.
BOOKING – Once you have sent us your booking form, we will notify you of the amount to pay and send you a link to the payment page. Approximately 1 month before we will also email you comprehensive information with directions to the venue, what to bring with you and a more detailed schedule.
