VENUE - Yoga Lodge is a venue only recently completed to the highest standards, with excellent and stylish facilities throughout. Yoga Lodge is rurally located in the ‘heart’ of Andalucia, about 20 minutes from the ancient city of Ronda, and within driving distance distance of Cordoba, Granada, Seville, Malaga, Marbella and Puerto Banus. Yoga Lodge is situated within rolling hills with delightful views over the surrounding countryside, hillside olive groves, and local fincas. The gardens have been lovingly grown around a fabulous swimming pool and seating areas, and the outdoor areas merge into the al fresco dining and relaxation areas surrounding the house itself. The indoor dining room and lounge areas are open plan, thoughtfully and stylishly furnished, and are walled with floor to ceiling glass doors and windows, offering the vistas from inside as well as out. SCHEDULE - Therapies are available on each day at Yoga Lodge, while walks, sight-seeing, cycling, horse riding, golf, beach visits, etc can all be arranged. ACCOMMODATION - Accommodation is in twins and doubles, and we can usually offer some rooms as single occupancy, with supplement. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms finished with luxury, comfort and style in mind. The airy and beautifully furnished bedrooms have contemporary wooden four-poster beds, seating and private outdoor patios, all with different views out to the gardens. CATERING - Our skilled local cooks offer fresh, healthy and colourful Mediterranean cuisine, fresh juices and fruit, while the wine cellar, for those who wish to imbibe, is stocked with an extensive collection of renowned Spanish wines from lesser known private vineyards in the primary wine producing regions. There are a number of different dining area options outside, in addition to the glass walled indoor dining room. The staff at Yoga Lodge are delightful and discrete, while the owners have a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, being also owners of the nearby Hotel La Fuente de la Higuera, one of Spain’s most popular boutique hotels, which has a fabulous restaurant for those wishing to slip off for Spanish gourmet specialities in meat, fish and traditional desserts. TRAVEL - Yoga Lodge is approximately one hours drive from Malaga Airport. We recommend that you hire a car so that you can explore the local areas, drive into Ronda, visit the nearby lakes, villages and moorish cities easily, although taxis can be arranged for transfers and local excursions. Sharing car hire costs and driving is a sensible option. We will connect you up with other group members, if requested to do so, for transfers and car hire. It is a condition of this vacation that each person has personal travel insurance appropriate to activity and fitness centred holidays. |
